School Formation, Development, Marketing, & Sales
Greg has assisted with the formation of several independent schools in British Columbia, the United States, China, Korea, and other locations around the globe. His involvement was from a legal, business, and educational consulting perspective. These independent schools include elementary, secondary (BC Dogwood), and post-secondary institutions.
His work in the education sector began in 1995 following his return from two years of practicing law in Bermuda. Upon his return, with two preschool-aged children at the time, he decided to apply his legal and business background to "make a difference" in the education sector. He saw the strong demand globally for the type of education he received at St. George's. Greg demonstrated determination and leadership as he assembled land and buildings, educators, curriculum/framework (some were IB schools), marketing, IT, and ongoing support systems.
To date, Greg has assisted with the formation of eight independent schools in Canada and USA. He has donated his time and services to a number of professional and charitable associations, including the University of B.C. Alumni Association as a Director of the Board. In addition, he co-founded TEC, a dynamic, profitable company in the post-secondary education industry. TEC owns three accredited colleges in the healthcare (nursing), animation, film, and recording industries with campuses in Canada. In addition he has been instrumental in the marketing and sales of multiple schools and colleges in Canada, US and Internationally.
